How do I get a case of family law adjourned in Canada?

How do I go about adjourning a family law court matter in Canada? Is there any special request forms that need to be filed?

A little more information is needed. What is your citizenship and place of residence? What court matter are you trying to resolve? Are you trying to initiate a case or respond to a case that someone else has initiated?

Only a judge can adjourn a case. A lawyer can request an adjournment but only the judge can grant adjournment to a later date.
