Dixie Carter Character Montage and Tribute

A collection of mostly television memories from Dixie Carter. My favorites were Randi King on Family Law and Julia Sugarbaker on Designing Women. I always looked forward to seeing other shows in which she appeared, there were many of them. R.I.P. We’ll miss you.

Very nice. Thank you for posting this. I loved her as Julia… “And that Marjorie, just so you’ll know; and so your children will someday know, is the night the lights went out in Georgia.”

@CatsLairArchives Oh, I LOVED it! She threw it out so casually and really made her point about him being a jerk without calling him one! Loved the animal print outfit, right down to the pants in the other scene! That was a fun character.

    No matter how many …
No matter how many times I watch her scenes in Family Law, I always start laughing at how she portrays Randi King.

Describing to her client’s husband, husband’s attorney, and the recorder in matter of fact tone why and how she killed her own husband, not to mention her first scene in the series telling her client what she wants from her ex-husband. She should have received an award for that role.
